\/>\nwhispering eternal solutions to everyday problems,<br \/>\nwholly unafraid, spreading infinite roots,<br \/>\nholding the sun on the tips of his fingers,<br \/>\ncracking new skin making new rings appear rippling forth<br \/>\nand so on and so on unto eternity.<br \/>\nGoddess is in the trees,<br \/>\nelegant and wise,<br \/>\nmoon-shawled shoulders,<br \/>\nstars in hair, branches spreading shelter and touches,<br \/>\nand invitations to holy silence:<br \/>\nCome, sit down against me, she says, and rest,<br \/>\nfeel what real solidity is, and the strength<br \/>\nI bear in my boughs for you and birds<br \/>\nAnd climbing children, tree houses,<br \/>\nAnd nests of eagles and hawks.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">God is the trees, shadow-maker verdant green,<br \/>\nGoddess is in the trees, shadow-dappled fire-crowned,<br \/>\nGod is in the trees, leaning down to lift the little ones up&#8211;squirrels<br \/>\nbaby raccoons, cicada nymphs, and wayward snakes and cats,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Goddess is in the trees, lifting the sky, setting out stars,<br \/>\nGod is in the trees, stirring the clouds,<br \/>\nweaving constellations of planets and stars,<br \/>\nGoddess is in the trees, mingling roots with earth and singing<br \/>\nIncantations of nourishing wonder,<br \/>\nGod is in the trees offering space for ravens to assemble, like<br \/>\nMonks and ministers, where owls can perch, like<br \/>\nJoan of Arc and Sister Odilia after her sight is returned,<br \/>\nGoddess is in the trees, tossing leaves, like<br \/>\nLittle ships, each catching a glimpse of the light<br \/>\nAs they sail away in streams and rivers,<br \/>\nCarrying holds of gold and hope for tomorrow<br \/>\nAnd now, there and here, everywhere<br \/>\nMoments are opening to space and time,<br \/>\nThat Goddess gives and gives some more,<br \/>\nGod is in the trees, seed-sailing, breath-giving<br \/>\nWanting only the best for you and me<br \/>\nAnd the giraffe nibbling leaves,<br \/>\nGoddess is in the trees, seed-spiraling, seed-blessing,<br \/>\nSeed sending, each with a message<br \/>\nThat says:<br \/>\nAbudance is real<br \/>\nAnd available<br \/>\nin each and every beat of the heart.<br \/>\nGod and Goddess are in the trees,<br \/>\nIntertwined and interwoven, like lyric and song,<br \/>\nAnd night and day, Lover, Beloved,<br \/>\nMountain and sky.<br \/>\nGod and Goddess are in the trees,<br \/>\nBlanket of leaves and branches of intricate wishes.<br \/>\nStop a moment,<br \/>\ngive yourself over to them,<br \/>\nkneel at their roots,<br \/>\nSleep in their arms,<br \/>\nPray to their slow, patient consciousness<br \/>\nPervading the ground of being with filigrees of earth-touching,<br \/>\nWater-drawing, heart-holding roots,<br \/>\nPervading the sky with air-climbing tendrils of praise<br \/>\nAnd praise and praise,<br \/>\nAnd palms that open in gratitude sweet with tears,<br \/>\nHear them as they sing:<br \/>\nYou have been born<br \/>\nAnd you have been seen<br \/>\nAnd you have been carried here<br \/>\nThrough our passageways<br \/>\nand intentions and through our conscious<br \/>\nBenevolence and kindly mischievousness,<br \/>\nThrough each ring and root and leaf,<br \/>\nThrough each swaying in summer storm,<br \/>\nthrough each autumn when we dress in our finest clothes,<br \/>\nthrough each standing still in winter, arms outstretched, gathering snow,<br \/>\nand through each spring when we surprise you again and again<br \/>\nwith green, sweet green, and blossoms that rain delicate<br \/>\nand heavenly, and fruit, more fruit than you can ever imagine,<br \/>\nit is all for you, breathe it in\u2014breathe it in.<br \/>\nThis sky is for you, breathe it in-<br \/>\nWe are for you,<br \/>\nBreathe us in\u2014<br \/>\nThis earth is for you\u2014<br \/>\nBreathe it in\u2014<br \/>\nThis moment in time and space&#8211;<br \/>\nIs for you\u2014<br \/>\nBreathe it in\u2014<br \/>\nThis song, this fragrance of unity and restfulness\u2014<br \/>\nThey are for you\u2014<br \/>\nBreathe them in,<br \/>\nAnd pray to one another<br \/>\nCompassionate prayers<br \/>\nLet your love spiral
