By Radiance Angelina Petro"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>What to Do?<br \/>\nby<br \/>\nRadiance Angelina Petro<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Trees sleep more and more these days,<br \/>\nthey do more dawdling, and have trouble<br \/>\ncatching their second wind.<\/p>\n<p>Take the willow for instance,<br \/>\nmostly what they do nowadays is plan random<br \/>\nthoughts. They end up only writing their initials<br \/>\ninstead of the stories they usually write,<br \/>\nand when a little boy turns into a hare<br \/>\nand bounds away, they hardly take notice,<br \/>\nwhen they sweep the ground they look<br \/>\nless and less like crones sweeping their cottages<br \/>\nand more like lost, tethered ghosts.<\/p>\n<p>Another example is the pine.<br \/>\nFewer and fewer of their cones follow<br \/>\nthe Fibonacci spiral, and look less and less<br \/>\nlike friars praying in a monastery, and more<br \/>\nlike wooden teeth that fall out at the slightest breeze.<\/p>\n<p>Now, I don\u2019t have answers to any of this,<br \/>\nespecially the stuff about the willows,<br \/>\nI\u2019m just worried\u2014autumn is approaching,<br \/>\nand when it gets here\u2014what then?<br \/>\nWhat if their leaves are less vivid and bright,<br \/>\nand can\u2019t hold on to their branches for very long?<br \/>\nAnd I can\u2019t even help find solutions&#8211;I\u2019m too busy<br \/>\ngrooming my long, velvety ears and being skittish<br \/>\nat everything that moves.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What to Do? by Radiance Angelina Petro &nbsp; Trees sleep more and more these days, they do more dawdling, and have trouble catching their second wind.
