All those thingamabobs in that one<\/p>\n
kitchen drawer reveal the genius<\/p>\n
of dreams. Who was awake when they<\/p>\n
opened the drawer, slipped in another<\/p>\n
something or other, and then slid the drawer<\/p>\n
closed?<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
There are no edges to the mind, no corners,<\/p>\n
no boxes to think out of, and it is more<\/p>\n
than knowing there are no boxes in the first place.<\/p>\n
There\u2019s only a circle as wide as the world,<\/p>\n
and why square a circle?<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
There are Time Beings and Idea Beings<\/p>\n
that live in the mind. The Idea Being plays<\/p>\n
in the darklight, and wants to know everything,<\/p>\n
and ventures out whether we realize it or not,<\/p>\n
and goes on little quests that sometimes<\/p>\n
turn into epic ones, and vice-a-versa.<\/p>\n
The point is there is no point, no linear<\/p>\n
one track mind. Idea Beings are into surprises.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The Time Being stands in silence<\/p>\n
in the center of the circle and counts noon<\/p>\n
to noon\u2014not waiting, not wanting, not<\/p>\n
expecting anything. It only fashions<\/p>\n
preludes, and sometimes ventures out<\/p>\n
so we can venture in. Sometimes<\/p>\n
they reveal themselves when we open<\/p>\n
the drawer and wonder\u2014smiling–<\/p>\n
how it all came to be, and why, knowing<\/p>\n
whatever it was we are searching for<\/p>\n
will not be found (it\u2019s in another drawer).<\/p>\n
And so, for the Time Being, this is one<\/p>\n
of those moments when it offers its hand<\/p>\n
to the Idea Being, so they can dance themselves<\/p>\n
into flight, flying far outside the circle.<\/p>\n
