passageways–walk them,<\/p>\n
or not, change directions,<\/p>\n
or not. Life explores<\/p>\n
you, nudges you<\/p>\n
inwards and outwards<\/p>\n
with such wild<\/p>\n
anticipation and faith<\/p>\n
it can barely hold in<\/p>\n
its joy and surprise.<\/p>\n
Reason and observe<\/p>\n
how ways open<\/p>\n
and close, expand,<\/p>\n
contract. Count blessings–<\/p>\n
not as things to accumulate,<\/p>\n
but as provisions to use<\/p>\n
in lean times, and by use,<\/p>\n
I mean, share. Every step<\/p>\n
and pause is reverence<\/p>\n
for ground and sky,<\/p>\n
backspace, and front–<\/p>\n
each exhale and inhale,<\/p>\n
and holding of breath–<\/p>\n
ceremonies for that<\/p>\n
precious, holy, mischievous<\/p>\n
moment of the remembrance<\/p>\n
of the sacred shadow<\/p>\n
who moves with us everywhere<\/p>\n
we go and don\u2019t go,<\/p>\n
until that time when we merge<\/p>\n
with it, grow wings,<\/p>\n
lift and soar, bank, and rise<\/p>\n
into the darkness of another<\/p>\n
sleep and awakening<\/p>\n
in the universal womb<\/p>\n
where sperm and egg<\/p>\n
reassemble us cell by cell,<\/p>\n
bone by bone, blood<\/p>\n
with blood, dream<\/p>\n
by dream, ritual<\/p>\n
by ritual.<\/p>\n
