A Collage Poem<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Above everything<\/p>\n

shift your position<\/p>\n

from time to time.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Picture yourself<\/p>\n

clearly.\u00a0 Raise questions.<\/p>\n

You might simply ask<\/p>\n

yourself: \u201cWhat is the essence<\/p>\n

of what I want?\u201d<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Talk to yourself,<\/p>\n

think around, draw<\/p>\n

diagrams, feel<\/p>\n

the intensity<\/p>\n

of your desire.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

What does this<\/p>\n

light throw,<\/p>\n

and on what?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Hold yourself to the work.<\/p>\n

Your ability to play<\/p>\n

is the important thing,<\/p>\n

so is the gradual movement<\/p>\n

towards the unexpected.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Be flexible enough<\/p>\n

to make the necessary<\/p>\n

revisions.\u00a0 Acknowledge<\/p>\n

frankly the consequences.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

There is no controlling<\/p>\n

the world about us, there are<\/p>\n

interferences and irritations,<\/p>\n

there will be moments<\/p>\n

of perplexity.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

So then, discover<\/p>\n

pleasures and fascinations,<\/p>\n

become absorbed<\/p>\n

in some joy. Be your own<\/p>\n

secret door.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

There will be<\/p>\n

things left undone,<\/p>\n

you might feel pressed<\/p>\n

for time, but there will be<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

delicious idiosyncrasies<\/p>\n

in your thinking<\/p>\n

and learning<\/p>\n

that will be oblivious<\/p>\n

to everyone else<\/p>\n

except you. And you might feel<\/p>\n

wonderfully mischievous<\/p>\n

and smile.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Be ready to believe in variations<\/p>\n

and embellishments,<\/p>\n

and possibilities of ever new<\/p>\n

thrilling blessings rising<\/p>\n

from your body.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Once you get yourself<\/p>\n

well started, remember<\/p>\n

bliss is viable, and<\/p>\n

as you change patterns and ways<\/p>\n

of self-recitations:<\/p>\n

be clear about this:<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

wonder does wonders.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n
