The art of blossoming<\/p>\n
Is simple and yet<\/p>\n
Riddled with struggle.<\/p>\n
First you find yourself<\/p>\n
A seed full of darkness<\/p>\n
Surrounded by darkness,<\/p>\n
Then you gradually begin<\/p>\n
To realize you are full of light,<\/p>\n
A light yearning to shine<\/p>\n
In the open, remarkable sky,<\/p>\n
Next you begin feeling<\/p>\n
An even brighter light<\/p>\n
Gently tugging, calling,<\/p>\n
Singing you out of the earth,<\/p>\n
Passed roots and rocks, until,<\/p>\n
At last, you break open–<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Into the full pageant of the day,<\/p>\n
With your light illuminating<\/p>\n
Your own life and the lives<\/p>\n
Of everyone you touch,<\/p>\n
And other lights<\/p>\n
Stream through you,<\/p>\n
Like liquid sweetness,<\/p>\n
And you draw sustenance<\/p>\n
From lightning and the rain\u2014<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
And the fragrance of all<\/p>\n
Your efforts–all that darkness,<\/p>\n
All that time spent<\/p>\n
Wisely unseen–lifts<\/p>\n
Into the wind, and your beauty<\/p>\n
Weaves through the day<\/p>\n
And the night, and other seeds,<\/p>\n
Through other gardens,<\/p>\n
Through other fields<\/p>\n
Awaiting this coming out,<\/p>\n
When the world, and the mirror,<\/p>\n
Are blessed.<\/p>\n
