The spring breeze haunts me,<\/p>\n
Every flower calls my name,<\/p>\n
Winter holds me fast.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The ghosts in the spring<\/p>\n
Flow through the weeping cherries,<\/p>\n
Then fall to the ground.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I saw the ghost child<\/p>\n
Wandering through the garden<\/p>\n
Wishing it was fall.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Spring ghosts whispering;<\/p>\n
The dogwoods acknowledge their voice<\/p>\n
Weeping white petals.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The dead follow close,<\/p>\n
The daffodils bow their heads,<\/p>\n
Blessing as we pass.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Dearest magnolia,<\/p>\n
How can it be you are there,<\/p>\n
Fancying up the sky?<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Spring wind chases by,<\/p>\n
Stirring my hair as it goes,<\/p>\n
Leaving me behind.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Someone mows a lawn,<\/p>\n
The sound drifts through the window,<\/p>\n
Melting through my mind.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Children\u2019s spring laughter<\/p>\n
Fluttering through the window,<\/p>\n
Waking up the ghosts.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Rain-scented pavement<\/p>\n
Permeates my feeling life,<\/p>\n
Understands the tears.<\/p>\n
