For revisions of my story,<\/p>\n
And yes, I know the last sentence<\/p>\n
As everyone does, and when<\/p>\n
It comes, and the journal is full,<\/p>\n
Another will be ready-made with sewn binding<\/p>\n
And paper made of linen<\/p>\n
Watermarked with your kiss,<\/p>\n
And you will lift me<\/p>\n
From the pages<\/p>\n
Of the full one\u2014complete<\/p>\n
With your lavish touches<\/p>\n
And crammed with my ridiculous adventures,<\/p>\n
And you will say, with all the pride<\/p>\n
Of a parent laying a newborn<\/p>\n
Into a bassinet\u2014<\/p>\n
