The gardener moves in the darkness among the flowers<\/p>\n
And bushes in the cemetery of caves and stones–<\/p>\n
Who does that?\u00a0 Who gardens by the light of the moon?<\/p>\n
Who touches the closed faces and hands<\/p>\n
And whispers blessings upon them?<\/p>\n
Who prunes unnecessary branches as if baptizing a child?<\/p>\n
Who bends down, robe of golden threads mixing with the earth,<\/p>\n
And pulls weeds from around the herbs and succulents?<\/p>\n
Who sculpts the soil of the roses?<\/p>\n
Who tends the nests of sparrows while at the same time<\/p>\n
Looks for you?<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The one who walks among the graves.<\/p>\n
The one who sees your beauty in the shadows.<\/p>\n
The one who turns towards you<\/p>\n
Even when you do not recognize him.<\/p>\n
The one who removes the hood of his cloak,<\/p>\n
And calls you by name.<\/p>\n
