Good.<\/p>\n

Close your eyes,<\/p>\n
Listen more.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Hear that? No?<\/p>\n
Good.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
That silence<\/p>\n
Is there<\/p>\n
For a reason.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Grab a coat,<\/p>\n
Step outside,<\/p>\n
Open your arms,<\/p>\n
Lift your face to the sky.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Hear that?<\/p>\n
Good.\u00a0 Feel that?<\/p>\n
Good.\u00a0 That is<\/p>\n
The reason, that is–<\/p>\n
Such marvelous,<\/p>\n
Dazzling stillness;<\/p>\n
Such exquisite<\/p>\n
Calm, such soothing<\/p>\n
Kisses from winter\u2019s<\/p>\n
Hushed lips.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Breathe in, feel that\u2014<\/p>\n
That briskness and quickening.<\/p>\n
Good.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
There are<\/p>\n
A million reasons,<\/p>\n
So many reasons,<\/p>\n
Each one crystalline<\/p>\n
And delicate, yet<\/p>\n
Powerful enough<\/p>\n
To quiet the world\u2014<\/p>\n
If only for a moment\u2014<\/p>\n
If only long enough<\/p>\n
For you<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
To feel and to listen<\/p>\n
To love\u2019s softening,<\/p>\n
To winter\u2019s patient<\/p>\n
Blanketing.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
That silence is there<\/p>\n
Not to threaten,<\/p>\n
But to assure you<\/p>\n
You are alive.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
As you go back<\/p>\n
Inside, to the noise<\/p>\n
Of notifications<\/p>\n
And important things to do\u2014<\/p>\n
You are invited,<\/p>\n
You are allowed,<\/p>\n
You are known.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
You are part<\/p>\n
Of the wisdom of the sky<\/p>\n
That says: shh.<\/p>\n
