Today, After Praying<\/p>\n

Something changed.<\/p>\n

A mountain got up<\/p>\n

and danced away,<\/p>\n

water broke from stone,<\/p>\n

darkness fled my mind, like<\/p>\n

so many angry crows,<\/p>\n

a door opened,<\/p>\n

a lost sheep was lifted<\/p>\n

onto great shoulders<\/p>\n

and carried home,<\/p>\n

a way became clear,<\/p>\n

a woman, clothed with the sun,<\/p>\n

kissed my forehead,<\/p>\n

light flooded my room,<\/p>\n

windows opened<\/p>\n

to bird song and blue sky,<\/p>\n

feet were washed,<\/p>\n

bread was placed<\/p>\n

into tired hands,<\/p>\n

answers dawned,<\/p>\n

questions fell away, like<\/p>\n

so many pieces of armor,<\/p>\n

doubts were dispelled, like<\/p>\n

melting snow.<\/p>\n

Something changed.<\/p>\n

In the twinkling of an eye,<\/p>\n

In the speaking of his name,<\/p>\n

Heaven bowed<\/p>\n

And welcomed me home.<\/p>\n
