the catfish creek<\/p>\n
beckons me<\/p>\n
to lift my skirt<\/p>\n

and wade into her waters<\/p>\n
and find rest<\/p>\n
among the leaves<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
falling on my upturned face<\/p>\n
and passing clouds<\/p>\n
fogging my eyes<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
until the night comes<\/p>\n
and drains everything<\/p>\n
in crimson currents<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
where no one will find me<\/p>\n
except the cottonmouth<\/p>\n
and the rainbow trout<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
and the moon<\/p>\n
fading in the floating palms<\/p>\n
of my empty hands<\/p>\n
