And speak them out loud.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Say, \u201cwind,\u201d and, \u201cbreath,\u201d and, \u201cspirit.\u201d<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Know this:<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Breath carries sounds of words,<\/p>\n
Wind carries them even further,<\/p>\n
And all of it all borne on wings of spirit.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Put another way:<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Words travel, like wind<\/p>\n
Becoming us, like breath<\/p>\n
Enlivening us, like spirit<\/p>\n
Sharing us because.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Try these:<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u201cListen,\u201d<\/p>\n
Try, \u201clemonade,\u201d<\/p>\n
Try, \u201cwish.\u201d<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Resonances come whether or not anyone<\/p>\n
Repeats them out loud after you;<\/p>\n
Faces lift and brighten,<\/p>\n
Steps slow and lighten,<\/p>\n
Some look up frightened.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Know this:<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
You touched souls<\/p>\n
With the kind of inner refreshment<\/p>\n
That only living wind and spirit feathers can bring,<\/p>\n
You brought ideas, held in sound, held in life,<\/p>\n
And the world will never be the same,<\/p>\n
And neither<\/p>\n
Will you.<\/p>\n
