My pulse.<br \/>\nMy transgender pulse.<br \/>\nPulses of privilege and safety.<br \/>\nPulses of people praying<br \/>\nIn churches and mosques,<br \/>\nSynagogues, temples,<br \/>\nAnd living rooms.<br \/>\nPulses of people in alleyways.<br \/>\nPulses of people behind closed, political doors.<br \/>\nPulses of your sisters.<br \/>\nPulses of your brothers.<br \/>\nPulses of those who do not identify<br \/>\nAs brother or sister.<br \/>\nThe pulse of deep humanity. Pulse<br \/>\nWithin pulse, pulse within pulse.<br \/>\nPulse of Pride.<br \/>\nFind inside ourselves,<br \/>\nFind inside each other,<br \/>\nPulses to rise, pulses to fight,<br \/>\nPulses to beat as one<br \/>\nTo change the world,<br \/>\nTo hold one another<br \/>\nIn reverence and mourning,<br \/>\nTo eradicate hate-mongering,<br \/>\nBarbarian pulses of those with ideas<br \/>\nWrapped in blood, hypocrisy,<br \/>\nShadow, pure insanity. Pulse<br \/>\nWithin pulse.
