{"id":1040,"date":"2015-06-21T10:25:11","date_gmt":"2015-06-21T14:25:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thewonderchildblog.com\/?p=1040"},"modified":"2015-06-21T10:25:11","modified_gmt":"2015-06-21T14:25:11","slug":"gliding","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/thewonderchildblog.com\/?p=1040","title":{"rendered":"Gliding"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Gliding<br \/>\nBy<br \/>\nJoseph Anthony Petro<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The longer I live, the more I realize flamboyant pink flamingoes<br \/>\nSplash in the shallow, blue water of my being.<br \/>\nThe more I move the more I sense my bones house a marrow of light.<br \/>\nSomewhere in my cells and those elegant strands of DNA,<br \/>\nThe sun, the moon, and all the stars in between weave<br \/>\nInto one rippling tapestry of aliveness.<br \/>\nThe more I breathe with my whole body the more I wash my hands<br \/>\nOf the tiresome dualities and ever-expanding binaries.<br \/>\nThe more I take mischievous delight in skirting the margins and bathing<br \/>\nIn a spectrum of sensual possibilities, the more I dance with recherch\u00e9 impulses<br \/>\nAnd experience in between spaces opening like songs on which I can ride, like<br \/>\nMagic carpets, and be lifted to liberated places.<br \/>\nThe more I participate in the unclouded awareness of sheer potential,<br \/>\nWhere authenticity breeds and freedom spirals in satins and silks,<br \/>\nThe more I dream of angels who embrace me and whisper in my ear:<br \/>\n\u201cIt\u2019s not too late. Come.
