\nSung, and spoken.
\nI am an expression
\nOf something, someone
\nSo living, so vitalizing,
\nThat it spills into my steps,
\nPours from my words,
\nWeeps from my heart
\nIn such a way as to both hide itself
\nAnd reveal itself at the same time.
\nIt should come as no surprise
\nThat wonder drips, no matter how
\nSad I get, from every cell
\nOf my body.
\nI am being made, created,
\nDreamed, formed
\nBy wonder, and the same wonder
\nThat assembles me
\nDismantles me, levels me,
\nEmptiness me,
\nAdjourns and disrobes me,
\nThat same wonder
\nI am being fitted for
\nDoctored by,
\nDissolved by
\nIs the same wonder
\nThat wants me,
\nRequests me,
\nStomachs me,
\nExplores me,
\nThat same wonder
\nThat is my every breath and my last breath,
\nThat same wonder that will lay me down
\nIn the soft earth and raise me up
\nWhen I am ready to awaken,
\nThat same wonder that will keep me
\nDancing, learning, being born, full of grace,
\nFull of insight, full of cherry blossom petals
\nAnd moonlight, full of ponds
\nAnd stars\u2014that same wonder, when I am ready
\nTo be myself in full bloom
\nWill be there, here
\nReady to catch me
